You all know that old saying about "you can't please all of the people all of the time…"?
Well, for the first time ever, I had a nasty experience with a "troll" - someone whose manners and class are sorely lacking.
Someone left a nasty spam comment on one of our posts today, and didn't have the balls to leave their proper name and email address.
You can always spot a coward and a spineless wimp from 500 ft away - they don't have the courage to stand up in public on their opinions. Instead, they hide behind a faceless post on a blog, with no genuine method of identifying themselves.
So…a nasty comment is a temporary blip on the radar, but be aware that when you put yourself out there in public, such as on a blog, you WILL attract the odd crazy sicko who really doesn't care who you are or whether they hurt you… they just get off on the exposure and controversy they created. Be forewarned and prepared - it will probably happen to you as well.
Just take the hit, delete their comment, have a drink & chill for 5, and move on. It's not worth losing sleep over their total lack of manners. In fact, if you feel sorry for them it will piss them off WAY more than forgiving them! LOL

Boy, have they turned out to be one of the unexpected big items on the internet in the last few years. Blogs - the name came from weblogs (personal and opinion journals/diaries) are now very much mainstream.
Blogs (and Blogging - the 'art' of writing on a blog) are so common and popular now that it sometimes seems like "everybody" has their own blog…
Of course, that's really not true. I know that out of all my friends and family, there are only 2 of us who own a blog and who add to that blog on a semi-regular basis, so in reality, its still a small percentage of folks who are bloggers.
